THE EUROPEAN Freight Forwarders Association (EFFA) has launched a recruitment drive in Africa to boost its membership base.
EFFA was established in 1994 with eight members, including Tony Kent of Airmark, Johannesburg, to help small to medium-sized companies compete with large multinationals. According to spokesperson Pauline Dalby, EFFA provides strong worldwide connections with agents who have been invited to join on the recommendation of existing members.
The group currently numbers over 30 members throughout Europe, Asia, the Far East, Australia and the US.
We will be seeking companies in Africa who would benefit from joining a world-wide network of this type, and who wish to work with companies who can provide the customer service and flexibility of the smaller company, said Dalby.
Membership is limited to one agent per region in Africa.
Anyone interested in membership should fax Pauline Dalby in Middlesex on 0944 181 758 0400.
