Around 71% of registered e-toll users have not paid over past 24 months

About 71% of e-toll invoices issued by the South African National Roads Agency Limited (Sanral) over the past 24 months have not been paid, said the Minister of Transport, Joe Maswanganyi, in a written answer to a question posed by Democratic Alliance MP, David Ross.

He said that this represented about R1.3 billion of the total R1.8 billion issued to registered users between April 2015 and March 2017.

Non-registered e-toll users owe Sanral around R7.2 billion said Maswanganyi.
