Angolan deep-water port gets underway

The Caioporto company has just launched the first phase of Angola’s deep-water port of Cabinda, with construction being handled by SA’s Franki Africa.

Drilling exploration for the port’s foundations has just started, to be followed by the construction of the port infrastructure, including a 775-metre quay and a 100-hectare site for cargo services.
