Ambitious marketing drive targets 2010 growth

JAMES HALL JET PARK-based Flyways Inter-Forwarders has embarked on an ambitious marketing drive to attract new business. “South Africa’s economy is so much larger compared to other African countries, there is room for us,” said director Suuna Mashudu Mulondo, whose firm began operations in 2002. Flyways Inter-Forwarders deals not only in airfreight, as the company’s name and location might imply, but road and rail transport of goods throughout South Africa. Procurement is another key service. Businesses and individuals outside South Africa will alert Flyways to their requirements which the company then tracks down, arranging shipping and transport, and delivering the goods to the client’s door. The company has set the 2010 World Cup as a goal. “We want to be widely known by then. Our marketing is targeting the World Cup,” said Mulondo.
