THREE MULTI-PURPOSE vessels under time-charter to Ahrenkiel Liner Service (ALS) and operating the South Africa/Far East Service have been sold by Danaos Shipping to TBS Shipping of New York.
All three have been renamed, with the official handover of each vessel taking place in Durban, commencing with the ALS Mary today (June 19), to be renamed ALS Montauk Maiden.
The others are ALS Danaos on July 9 to be renamed ALS Shawnee Princess and ALS Amalia on July 20, with a new name to be decided on.
The vessels' name changes have been circulated in current normal weekly schedules to all ALS Agencies' clients
