'All-in-one solutions in high demand

A collaborative effort by ID Verification Systems (IVS) and Airlink Cargo has seen the creation the IVS Logistics System which offers a range of features from air waybill creation, barcoding and manifesting to track and trace and customer interfacing. The system was developed by IVS while Airlink Cargo participated as the testing organisation. “IVS has further developed systems such as an Integrated Airline Catering Management System and an Order Movement Tracking System to cater for the airline-specific needs of Airlink Cargo,” said IVS director, Marius van Jaarsveld. “The need for sharing of information throughout the supply chain is a strong trend in the freight industry and electronic tracking and mobile workforces are key to providing a competitive service,” said Airlink Cargo CEO, Alwyn Rautenbach.
