Air France commits to quality

AIR FRANCE has committed to the ISO 9001 quality standard for all its stations over the next few years. Paris and Lyon have already achieved the certification, with the rest of the region's stations to be accredited by 2003. The rest of the world will follow with South Africa likely to lead the charge for the African subcontinent. "Airfreight is used for valuable cargo which makes it essential for airlines to provide a quality service," says newly appointed Air France Cargo regional manager Philippe Vogel.
