Description:
My client from a Freight Forwarding Company is seeking an HR Officer to join their growing team
Training and Development
- Conduct annual training needs analyses and assist with Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR) submissions
- Coordinate learnership programmes and liaise with SETAs, training providers and departmental managers
- Prepare training reports and ensure compliance with Skills Development and B-BBEE requirements
Employee & Labour Relations
- Support the implementation of employee relations policies and procedures in line with labour legislation
Performance Management
Coordinate and maintain the company's performance management system
HR Administration
- Prepare employment contracts, confirmation letters, promotion, transfer, salary increase and resignation documentation
- Maintain personnel files and HR records
- Manage induction documentation and onboarding administration
- Maintain organisational structures and organograms
- Process UIF and other statutory HR documentation
Payroll Processing
- Process end-to-end payroll accurately and within deadlines
- Capture and maintain employee leave, overtime, bonuses, deductions and statutory contributions
Data Management
- Maintain accurate payroll and employee records while ensuring confidentiality
Compliance & Audits
- Ensure payroll and HR processes comply with labour legislation, tax regulations and company policies
- Assist with internal and external payroll audits
Reporting
- Prepare regular HR, training and payroll reports for management
Benefits Administration
- Administer employee benefits including medical aid, provident fund and other company benefit schemes
