IN ZIMBABWE, the second set of inflation estimates for July under the new consumer price index (CPI) shows inflation continues to accelerate. Annual inflation rose to 254.8% in July from 164.3% in June – and, on a monthly basis, inflation rose to 47% from 18.1% in July.
