THE CROSS Border Road Transport Agency has warned South African transporters that Zambia is holding a big drive to combat overloading of trucks which is leading to the destruction, not only of Zambian roads, but those of other SADC countries as well.
Zambia has now placed its weighbridges under the supervision of two people from the private sector who have adopted the zero tolerance approach to operators who persist in overloading.
