Women in freight conference to be held in March

A freight and logistics conference focusing on advancing the careers of women in the transport sector will be held in Johannesburg on March 19 and 20 this year.

The inaugural ‘Women in Freight, Transport and Logistics Conference’ will serve as a networking event for women in the transport sector, commented the event organisers, Amabhubesi Conferencing and Training.

Speakers at the conference will include South African National Roads Agency Limited (Sanral) chairperson, Dudu Nyamane, Mihlali Gqada, logistics and economics specialist at the Department of Transport as well as University of Johannesburg transport, economics and logistics management advisory lecturer, Rose Luke.

The conference will present various case studies, panel discussions and workshops aimed at women and key business leaders in the transport industry.
