WINE manufacturing exporter Sociedad Agricola Victoria S..A.(SAVISA) has triumphed in this year's ABSA-Cape Chamber of Commerce and Industry Western Cape Exporter of the Year competition.
Established in 1991, SAVISA is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Swiss-based multi-national Jacques Germanier Group. Wine production is exclusively for the export market and managed according to ISO 9002 standards.
SAVISA owns Sonop, a state-of-the-art wine farm at Stellenbosch, recognised as the leader in organically grown grapes and accordingly certified by the European Community. Its products include Cape Soleil, Out of Africa, Winds of Change and Tribal.
The company is very conscious of empowering its workers and staff commitment is rewarded with proactive social responsibility programmes.
