Earlier this year FTW Online reported the Chinese mainland had hit a record trade volume high of $4.16 trillion in 2013, overtaking the United States’s $3.91 trillion to become the world's largest trading nation. Now data released by the General Administration of Customs last week shows China’s top 10 trading partners, based on total trade: 1. The United States: $521 billion 2. Hong Kong: $401 billion 3. Japan: $312.55 billion 4. The Republic of Korea: $274.24 billion 5. Taiwan: $197.28 billion 6. Germany: $161.56 billion 7. Australia: $136.37 billion 8. Malaysia: $106.07 billion 9. Brazil: $90.27 billion 10. Russia: $89.21 billion
