Wheelbarrow dumping duty

On 06 March 2015 the South African Revenue Service announced the imposition of provisional anti-dumping payment (duty) in respect of the alleged dumping of wheelbarrows, classifiable in tariff subheading 8716.80.10, originating in or imported from the People's Republic of China (China). (The applicant was Lasher Tools and the investigation was initiated in the Government Gazette of 20 June 2014.) The anti-dumping duties are effective from 06 March 2015 up to and including 04 September 2015 (for a 6-month period). The rates of anti-dumping duty differ depending on whether they are manufactured by Qingdao Youhe (32.32%), or by Qingdao Wantai (29.82%), or by companies excluding Qingdao Yongyi, Qingdao Youhe and Qingdao Wantai (29.82%).
“Worth noting is the fact that imports from Qingdao Yongyi are not subject to an anti-dumping duty (0%).
