At the invitation of the Secretary General of the International Air Cargo Association (Tiaca) the WCO Deputy Secretary General attended the 28th International Air Cargo Forum and Exhibition (ACF) held in Paris, France, on 26 and 27 October.
The ACF was attended by 2 500 participants from over 50 countries, including air cargo industry leaders, national regulators and international organisations such as Icao and the WCO. The agenda of the event focused on the “Vision for the industry”, and covered a wide range of discussion sessions on Customs-related issues, including Cyber Security, the new EU Customs Code, e-Commerce and Pre-loading advance cargo information (PLACI).
