Warehouseit adds muscle to one-stop package

Global forwarder Texcon and specialist domestic express airfreight distribution company Courierit have added muscle to their one-stop logistics package with the creation of a separate warehousing division – Warehouseit. This follows the acquisition of 2 000m2 of warehousing in Germiston with all the necessary facilities. “Texcon and Courierit have been working closely together, looking for opportunities for lateral integration,” Texcon MD Neil Harris told FTW. “With the combined muscle of these three associated and separately managed businesses – Courierit, Texcon and now Warehouseit – we have created a strategic logistics partnership to cater for our customer's tailor-made logistics requirements,” he added.
