A WAREHOUSE management system suited to a wide range of applications - from small manual operations to fully automated facilities - is making inroads in the local market.
ISASTORE, distributed locally by ISA South Africa, has already been implemented in 22 countries around the globe, catering for a wide variety of industries, says ISA SA country manager Simon Dahlem. “Our WMS fits into any service or production company,” he told FTW.
“ISASTORE¨ incorporates the latest material flow technologies, making it scaleable in any environment, interfacing with SAP and other HOST systems.
“It is a very powerful application, processing up to 80.000 order-lines per day, and that is not nearly the limit,” he said,
“Our warehouse control system (WCS) ISAMAT¨ allows us to integrate any kind of PLC used in stacker cranes and conveying systems,” says Dahlem. “We have established a reputation in Europe and Far East for our expertise in implementing and replacing control systems without any downtime for the client’s operation, and are keen make this know-how available to the South African market.”
Recent developments include an ISASTORE¨-LITE version for small applications and a new module
for clients involved in the warehousing of chemicals and Dangerous Goods/
HAZMAT.
