On May 19, 2026, Sars informed that the updated ‘Customs Contravention List’ that was published on April 17, 2026 had been withdrawn.
The previous version of the Customs Contravention List, published on July 29, 2022, is officially reinstated. All stakeholders are required to comply with the standards set out in the reinstated Customs Contravention List dated July 29, 2022.
