On 19 June 2026, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) announced an amendment, on 01 July 2026, of the Rules to the Customs and Excise Act,1964, in Section 15 “Electronic South African traveller management system”. The details of the amendment are contained in a Notice, Form “TD 01 – Traveller declaration Manual”, and Form “TGD1 – Traveller goods declaration”. (DAR275)
