AS PART of its strategy for development, Unicorn Tankers has purchased the 30 000 dwt products tanker Energos from Engen Limited and will charter her back to Engen until mid 1999.

The company currently has four products tankers on order with the Szczecin Shipyard in Poland.

In another strategic move the bulk bitumen carrier, Eland, jointly owned by Unicorn Tankers and Engen, has been sold to Durban-based FFS Bunkers.

FFS will use the vessel for bunkering in Durban and Richards Bay and for the carriage of bunker fuel between the ports when necessary.
