Windhoek-based Transworld Cargo completed several core infrastructure projects last year, including additional warehouse facilities in Walvis Bay and in Windhoek, business development manager Frank Gschwender told FTW. “More and more local companies follow an international trend to outsource their logistics in order to focus on core business operations and processes,” he said “In mid 2012, Transworld added a 900-sqm warehouse to its 14 000-sqm facility in Walvis Bay. At the end of 2012 we also opened a brand new 5800- sqm warehousing facility at our premises in the Southern Industrial Area in Windhoek. Supported by state-of-the-art warehousing technologies, these premises are integrated warehousing and distribution solutions,” he said.
