Transnet port execs gather for industry brainstorm

Several Transnet executives will gather in Durban in May for an immersive Transport Forum discussion about South Africa’s port terminals.

More specifically, the public service stakeholders from the logistics utility will discuss “successes of the past year, immediate readiness plans, and strategy for the next two years”.

Transport Forum has confirmed that the following executives will address the Transnet-hosted event:

  • Jabu Mdaki, chief executive officer for Transnet Port Terminals (TPT).
  • Solly Letsoalo, Group CEO of Transnet SOC Ltd.
  • Earle Peters, managing executive for Durban and Cape Town terminals.
  • Wandisa Vazi, managing executive for Eastern Cape terminals.
  • Thulasizwe Dlamini, managing executive for Richards Bay terminals.
  • Oscar Borchards, managing executive for Saldanha terminals.
  • Alvin Gulzar, executive manager, ICT, for TPT.
