TRADE DEVELOPMENT workshops were in strong evidence in Johannesburg last week. The Hong Kong Trade Development Council offered an overview of trade opportunities for South Africans in Hong Kong and China last Wednesday while the Mozambique Investment Promotion Centre hosted a business linkages conference on Tuesday. Representatives from the Mozambique Aluminium Smelter Mozal, Maputo Port Development Company and Mozambique Railways were among the delegates who provided an insight into the business and joint venture opportunities in the region which is now South Africa’s number one trading partner in Africa.
