THE LATEST arrival on the yachting scene in Durban is also the country’s first Ferretti motor yacht, which arrived on board a MACS ship recently. Acquired by a group of four partners in a Durban business, the R30 million luxury yacht (that’s its landed cost) has been named Foreplay and has taken up pride of place at the yachting marina where a fireworks display across the harbour marked its arrival. Present at the function were representatives of the manufacturer Ferretti of Italy who have appointed Durban’s Foreshore Ships Agency as their agent for South Africa.
