The WTO’s latest ‘World Tariff Profiles’ edition

On 29 June 2026, the World Trade Organization (WTO) published the latest edition of “World Tariff Profiles”, an annual publication that provides comprehensive information on tariffs and non-tariff measures imposed by over 150 economies. It is a joint publication with the International Trade Centre (ITC) and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).

The report provides tables listing WTO members’ average ‘bound’ tariffs - the maximum tariffs committed under WTO rules - alongside the tariffs actually applied by each member. The data are presented for ‘all products’ and are also broken down into agricultural and non-agricultural products.

One-page profiles for each economy provide more detailed tariff information, with a breakdown of tariffs by product group. Each profile also indicates the tariffs each economy faces when exporting to its major trading partners.

A separate section focuses on Non-Tariff Measures (NTMs), providing statistics on anti-dumping measures, countervailing measures and safeguards undertaken by each economy. NTMs are also listed by product group.

Data can also be accessed through the WTO Stats portal [https://stats.wto.org/]
