Technology specialist wins KZN export award

UEC TECHNOLOGIES, a specialist in the field of hi-tech digital decoders, took home the top award in the Maersk Sealand/Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry KwaZulu-Natal Exporter of the Year. Maersk South Africa managing director Peter Ehrenreich presented the award at the Chamber's annual dinner which drew a record attendance of 800 members and guests. Awards were also presented to Hulett Aluminium of Pietermaritzburg (in the large company section), Federal Mogul Friction Products (medium-sized company) and SA BioProducts (small company section).
