JAMES HALL ANCHORING THE far southern end of Swaziland’s Matsapha Industrial Estate, with nothing but pastureland beyond, Chrisilda Transport’s facility has more than scenery going for it. 2007 will see the company space used for an expanded inland container depot, and for a fleet of new trucks to complement the current fleet of 42. “This year we are going to get more and more into the tipping industry. There is a huge demand for these trucks in South Africa,” Sikelela Vilakati, who become company manager last year, told FTW. Travelling to any destination in South Africa, from Durban to Cape Town, Chrisilda transports full loads, from containers filled by clients in the Swaziland garment, agriculture and forestry industries, among other users.
