Sunset Review Anti-Dumping Investigations – Comment due

On 07 June 2024, the International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa (ITAC) extended an invitation to Southern African Customs Union (SACU) manufacturers to submit a request by 08 July 2024 with duly substantiated information, indicating that the expiry of the anti-dumping duties on the following products would likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping and material injury:

  • Clear float glass – originating in or imported from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
  • Soda Ash – originating in or imported from the United States of America.
  • Gypsum Plasterboard – originating in or imported from Indonesia, and Thailand.
  • Wire Ropes – originating in or imported from the People’s Republic of China, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
