Spring shipping school scheduled for September

AS THE hot season approaches, the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS) has launched its spring shipping school – the fifth one-week school held in SA. According to Bob King of the A-Cubed Institute – the short course trainer for ICS – the popularity of this course has improved in leaps and bounds since it was first introduced in 2004. “It was in response to the needs of the broader shipping and logistics community for a short-butintensive course focusing on certain critical areas. “It was designed to equip the participants with the knowledge and skills that are so keenly needed in these times of change.” The spring school term runs from October 19-24 – and it will be held at the Pumula Beach Hotel on the south coast of Kwa- Zulu Natal.
