KAREN KRUGER has been appointed trade manager for P&O Nedlloyd's services between West Africa, South Africa and East Coast South America.
She will be responsible
for building market share, profitability and maximising slot utilisation on P&O Nedlloyd's WACCON (West Africa and connecting services), ASAS (South Africa
- South America) and Benguela Express (BEX) services.
Kruger completed her Masters degree in Maritime Economics at the University of Stellenbosch in 2000, before joining P&O Nedlloyd in Cape Town where she worked on a part-time basis. She later moved to London where she held various
positions at the company's London office before moving back to South Africa in January this year.
