Specialist divisions cater for diverse transport needs

IN FULFILLING its mandate to provide an all-encompassing logistics service, Concargo has set up a range of specialist divisions that cater for customers’ transport and affiliated needs under one roof. AFL Articulated Film Logistics specialises in the film supply chain industry while Fiduciary Brokers, a financial services provider, concentrates on marine transit insurance, covering all risks and goods in transit. In anticipation of the business that Soccer World Cup 2010 will generate, its World Cup Logistics division will provide logistical services to the building and construction industries. “Flexibility is a cornerstone of our service,” says CEO David Kruyer. “We will tailor our rates and services in order to meet the needs of our customers wherever possible, moving everything from one pallet to full loads, abnormal trucks and equipment throughout South Africa and the SADEC countries by road and air,” he told FTW. Established 20 years ago, Concargo has offices in Cape Town, Johannesburg, the UK and Lusaka.
