Smuggled oil and soap confiscated

Martin Rushmere MOZAMBIQUE customs has seized 19TEUs at Nacala of smuggled cooking oil and bath soap. Total value of the consignment was about US$200 000. The consignment was allegedly bound for a fictitious company in Malawi, which allowed the importers to avoid paying duties. Predictably, no-one has come forward to claim the containers.
