The Zambia Bureau of Standards (ZABS) in collaboration with Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) has launched a pilot project single window online clearance system for imports at the Chirundu border post between Zambia and Zimbabwe.

ZABS chief executive officer, Manuel Mutale, said in a statement that the system would enhance efficiency and reduce the turnaround time for inspection and clearance of goods.

According to him, 2 183 assorted products were inspected at Chirundu border between January and February this year.
