Singapore Airlines adds a sixth flight to JNB

Singapore Airlines has announced that flights between Singapore and Johannesburg will increase from five to six per week from November 12.

Flights from Singapore:

SQ 478 departs Singapore at 01h30 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays,

Saturdays and Sundays, arriving in Johannesburg at 06h10.

NB: On Thursdays, SQ 478 leaves Singapore at 01h45, arriving in Johannesburg at 06h10.

SQ 482 departs Singapore at 15h00 on Fridays and arrives in Johannesburg at 19h40.

Flights from Johannesburg:

SQ 479 departs Johannesburg at 13h45 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays,

Saturdays and Sundays. It arrives in Singapore at 06h10 the following day.

SQ 481 departs Johannesburg on Fridays at 20h55 and arrives in Singapore at 13h20 the following day.

The carrier continues to operate its two weekly flights between Cape Town (via Johannesburg) and Singapore.

Singapore-bound travellers are required to have a negative PCR test result from a test taken within the 48 hours before departure.

Passengers are permitted to transit to other destinations via Singapore Changi Airport.
