Adaptability and the ability to
fill market gaps ensures that
logistics companies in Zimbabwe
keep freight moving.
“We are one of the only ships’
agents in the region operating our
own transport fleet,” says Alro
Shipping sales and marketing
executive Bruce Jamera.
Sister company Alro Transport
has increased its fleet of truck
tractors to over 80 in order to
provide greater support and
flexibility.
Alro Shipping is the Zimbabwean
agent for MOL Mitsui Lines and
Ignazio Messina Lines.
It supports the full logistics
chain, including clearing and
forwarding.
“We are able to provide a
seamless and cost-effective service,
because we cover the full logistics
value chain in-house,” he says.
