CMA CGM has launched a new direct service, Noura Express, from Middle East to Somalia – with the first sailing starting on Wednesday, January 29.
The 21-day service, deploying a 1 854-REU capacity vessel, will connect at Khor Fakkan with CMA CGM long haul services from/to worldwide to reach Mogadishu, Somalia.
The full rotation for the Noura Express is as follows: Jebel Ali (day 1) – Khor Fakkan (day 2) – Salalah (day 3) – Mogadishu (day 6) – Jebel Ali.
Mathieu Friedberg, senior vice president African lines CMA CGM, said: “We strongly believe in the recovery of the Somalian economy. This is the first milestone of our growth plan in this region and there will be more developments in the months ahead.”
