Itac on 19 June 2015 published a tariff application for the proposed review of Rebate Item 307.01/3920.20/01.06 for the rebate of the customs duty on plates, sheets, film, foil and strip of polymers of propylene, biaxially oriented, for the manufacture of self-adhesive tape of tariff subheading 3919.10.
The application was lodged by Itac who indicated that interested parties wishing to respond to this application notice must submit an "Interested Party Questionnaire" which is available on request.
As the reason for the application it was indicated that in its Report No. 3873, the Board on Tariffs and Trade (BTT) recommended the creation of a rebate facility on biaxially oriented polypropylene film used in the manufacture of self-adhesive tape, in which it stated that the rebate facility should be reviewed.
