Ghana’s government has
acquired land outside
the city of Tamale in
northern Ghana to develop
the country’s second
international airport.
Transport Minister
Dzifa Attivor said that
Ghana was investing
heavily in air freight
infrastructure, including
airport upgrades.
She noted that a third
terminal was being
planned for Kotoka
International Airport
(pictured here) in the
capital city of Accra and
that the country was in the
process of developing six
more regulated airports.
