KEVIN MAYHEW SOUTH AFRICAN Revenue Services (SARS) has held its first meeting with freight industry stakeholders to establish future requirements that facilitate more seamless interaction with its offices. Classified as an exercise to begin “scoping” to establish future needs, a spokesperson said SARS wanted major input before it decided on its business systems for the future. The meeting was held in Pretoria and, by all accounts, was well attended by the industry at all levels. FTW will keep the industry posted.
