Shippers, agents, and transporters are advised that the South African Revenue Service (Sars) will be conducting systems maintenance tomorrow, June 4, from 22:00 to 23:55.

A message circulated by the Federation of East and Southern African Road Transport Associations (Fesarta) said the maintenance would affect Declaration Processing (DPS) and Road Manifest Processing (CPS/RCG).

“Stakeholders are therefore urged to submit priority Goods Declarations (bills of entry) and priority Road Manifests by 21:00 on Saturday,” Fesarta said.

Customs services will be available during maintenance at land border posts should any assistance be required.
