Sales staff always in demand

Recession or boom – good sales staff are always in short supply. “Sales people have continued to demand higher salaries due to the area of specialisation and we have seen no decrease in the offers made,” PAG’s Lawrence Wordon told FTW. “We have also noticed that experienced and strong candidates are able to negotiate significantly higher raises.” Wordon’s advice to people who have been retrenched. “We recommend that they partner with a reputable recruitment company with a focus on the freight industry,” he said. “They have their ears to the ground with regard to job vacancies, and can offer sound advice on what to do to make yourself more marketable.”
