The Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Dr Naledi Pandor, will host Portugal’s Minister of Foreign Affair, Professor Augusto Santos Silva, in Pretoria today to discuss bilateral trade opportunities.
Pandor said that the visit followed a meeting between President Cyril Ramaphosa and President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa of Portugal earlier this year. “The visit is part of a series of high-level engagements between the two countries,” said Pandor.
She said bilateral trade had reached R6.3 billion in 2019, a 4%increase compared to 2018.” - Zoë van Rooyen
