Bidvest Namibia, which listed on the Namibian Stock Exchange in October 2009, reported that revenue was up 20.6% to N$1,9 billion (2009: N$1,6 billion). Trading profit of N$367.9 million (2009: N$294,4 million) was up 25%. While “Manica had a difficult year, compounded by falling aid cargoes, the fisheries businesses did exceptionally well, underpinned by a strong performance by Namsov’s core horse mackerel operation”. A new vessel was acquired for N$210 million.
