Rail link for new Luanda airport

The future international airport of Luanda – being constructed on a site 30 kilometres from the capital - will be connected to Luanda downtown by a second railway line.

Construction of the six-station line begins next year, and is expected to be fully operational in the first quarter of 2017 – at the same time as the airport opening.
