THE PORT of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) has set a new world berth productivity record of 340 container moves per hour. The Maersk Sealand vessel AP Moller was being worked at the time, with 4 316 containers discharged and loaded in less than 13 hours. The AP Moller-Maersk Group is a shareholder in PTP, where APM Terminals also holds a contract for the operational management of the container terminal.
