On 20 September 2022, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) informed of an update to the Prohibited and Restricted Imports and Exports List that requires that tariff headings 3002.49.10 (Saxitoxin) and 3002.49.20 (Ricin ) need to be detained for Non-Proliferation Council.
