Privatisation to feature at Wista conference

SOUTH AFRICA will host the Women’s International Shipping and Trade Association (WISTA) annual conference in Durban from October 8-10 this year. “The association’s primary role is to promote networking opportunities for our members both locally and internationally,” says chairperson of WISTA SA, Keren Giladi of Dudula Shipping. Conference presentations will cover issues like port privatisation, the future of insurance in the shipping industry, the AGOA & EU-SA Agreements and the ISPS Code. WISTA members and non-members involved in the shipping and international trade industries of South Africa are eligible to attend the conference.
