Placement agency opens Durban branch

THIS MONTH saw the opening by X-Act Placements of a Durban branch to complement its Johannesburg operation. “Since our launch a year ago we’ve seen overwhelming demand for a specialist recruitment firm that understands not only the freight and logistics industry but more importantly the needs of both candidates and clients,” CEO Michael Henning told FTW. “With our reputation in Johannesburg now well established, we decided it was time to open our doors for business in Durban.” Recognising the time-constraints of its clients, the company presents only the top three candidates for any position. “We look after all the initial time-consuming screening, scrutiny and testing,” says Henning. An innovative rate structure has been introduced with a loyalty reward system in place. Clients are charged a base rate of 10% for any level position with a substantial discount for each third successful placement made at any one company. The Durban branch is headed up by Theo Theodossion.
