The Department of Energy has announced that the pump prices for both grades of petrol will increase by 1.0c/l; diesel will decrease by between 1.8c/l and 4.0c/.
The department said in a statement that the main reasons for these fuel price adjustments were the weakening of the rand against the US dollar, despite the drop in the prices of all petroleum products during the period under review.
