PETER PALMER has joined independent NVOCC CFR Freight in the newly-created position of Johannesburg branch manager. He will take over the day to day operational responsibilities of the Johannesburg branch, whose significant growth over the past two years has necessitated the move. Palmer has notched up 20 years of experience in the clearing and forwarding industry with the likes of Eagle Freight, Rennies and most recently as trade development manager for Africa at Safcor Panalpina.
